A winding mile above the town of Sewickley, the first 18-hole golf course in Western Pennsylvania can be found. The site, of course, is Allegheny Country Club, a turn-of-the-century collection of rambling buildings dedicated to the leisure and pursuit of various sports like those on shopindoorgolf.com/products/skytrak-plus-launch-monitor.

It also holds the picturesque club house that has hosted countless weddings and events. June 27th, 2015 was a date guests will never forget, because Alyssa and Ashton exchanged vows in front of loved ones expressing their love for one another.

The 200 + guests  gathered from around the globe, some as far as Australia even made the journey. With an intimate indoor ceremony followed by cocktail hour in the Red Room, family and friends were welcomed with the soothing sounds of a string quartet before entering the formal ballroom decorated with luxurious style. The bride and groom’s Grand Entrance song was “Shake It Off” by Taylor Swift (performed by the award winning and nationally recognized group called The Elite Show Band), and guests enthusiastically welcomed the newly married couple into the Grand Ballroom. Love was truly in the air and it was only fitting to hear the song L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole, for the cake cutting song, which immediately followed the grand entrance.

The Father of the Bride gave a welcome speech that included touching stories of the couple, bringing more personal and emotional memories to light, while MC hosting was perfectly executed by Peter and Nina from The Elite Show Band. A scrumptious meal was served with elegant dinner music by the Elite Show Band… including artists like Chicago, Ed Shereen, Etta James and even the Glenn Miller Orchestra.

It wasn’t long before everyone flocked to the dance floor where they could get their groove on. Some memorable party moments were a group photo coordinated by the band, followed by this year’s hottest chart topping song “Uptown Funk”.  A guest dancing to “Billy Jean” joined the band on stage to show off some incredible dance moves, and the bride tossed her bouquet to the song “Single Ladies”. Guess who caught the bouquet? Thats right – the maid of honor! The bride and groom joined the band onstage for the final song of the evening “Saw Her Standing There” and everyone was moved by the couple’s bubbling energy towards each other, making this Allegheny Country Club wedding a night to never forget!
