Phipps Conservatory Wedding
Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, a great steel and glass Victorian greenhouse, has been inviting visitors to explore the beauty and mysteries of plants since 1893. Set amidst one of Pittsburgh’s largest greenspaces, Schenley Park, Phipps Conservatory stands as a cultural and architectural centerpiece of the city’s Oakland neighborhood.
What a perfect setting to exchange vows to the one you love, especially if your name is Ali and Jake. This beaming couple tied the knot in the center of the picturesque Tropical Forrest. The 150+ guests in attendance came from all over the country and were delighted to spend an evening with loved ones, while enjoying the scenic views of this beautiful Phipps Conservatory Wedding
While guests enjoyed cocktails in the tropical forest, the ballroom’s final touches were being placed by various vendors including Mocha Rose floral designs- who outdid themselves with stunning centerpieces and accent flowers. The music was provided by Pittsburgh’s premiere entertainment company, featuring an award winning and nationally recognized band called The Elite Show Band.
The grand entrance was a happy moment- especially given the fact that guests entered to Pharrell Williams hit song “Happy”, which led straight into the couple’s first dance to the song “All Of Me” by John Legend. The father of the bride was a huge Rolling Stones fan and has seen the Stones more then 30 times across america, his special surprise father daughter dance song was “Wild Horses”.
Throughout the evening the guests danced, sang, and made a strong connection with each other as they celebrated Ali and Jake’s special day. The group managed to get a wonderful photo with all guests huddled around the bride and groom which soon led to several “selfie’ moments captured by various friends from the bridal party.
The evening concluded with the couple joining The Elite Show Band on stage and jamming to Van Morrison’s timeless classic “Brown Eyed Girl”. It was a rock star moment, and this couple truly lived up to every bit of it and more. Congratulations to Ali and Jake!

First of all, I would just like to say simple words do not do this band justice! If they were written in gold and diamonds we might have a start… The Elite Show Band is unlike anything I’ve ever seen at an event such as a wedding. They engage themselves with the guests during the entire length of the event and you can easily tell they are absolutely in love with what they do. They are such a beatifully talented group of musicians. They are beyond accommodating and simply special!
