A Fox Chapel Wedding with Southern Flair

A night of honor, tradition, remembrance and love!

Lieutenant Hank and Dr. Jill tied the knot in Pittsburgh’s exclusive Fox Chapel Golf Club surrounded by friends, family and brothers in arms. This architectural landmark was filled to capacity to celebrate their wedding, which included everything from a traditional military sword ceremony to a New Orleans style “Second Line” dance.

The Fox Chapel Golf Club doesn’t disappoint when they say they provide “a stunning setting, outstanding service, fine cuisine, and our attention to every detail”. Add a whole dessert room and you have it all.

With so many influences and important family traditions to cover this family brought in the highly acclaimed Elite Show Band to tie it all together. In addition to their requests for James Taylor’s “Carolina on my Mind” and the always haunting “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, Elite Show Band was able to accommodate a whole medley of family requests from Hava Nagila, Elton John’s “Philadelphia Freedom”, the Cars “Let the Good Times Roll” to the traditional “Iko Iko” and “When the Saints Go Marching In” complete with Pittsburgh “terrible towels” and twirling southern parasols. The dance floor was jammed until after midnight and even then an encore was inescapable!

It truly seemed like no stone was left unturned to make this a night of honor, tradition, remembrance and love.
