A Fairmont Wedding
Downtown Pittsburgh has no shortage of fantastic wedding venues. One of the newest and best is the Fairmont Pittsburgh. Since opening in 2010, Fairmont Pittsburgh has earned numerous awards and accolades and is Pittsburgh’s first LEED Gold certified hotel. It’s no wonder Beth and Justin chose this Grand Ballroom for the site of their wedding reception.
Madeline Kelly and the team at the Fairmont did an incredible job decorating the room in the “wedding white” theme the bride had chosen. Also important to the Bride and Groom was their theme, “Being Thankful” which was reflected in every detail with the focus being on a celebration for the whole family.
Toward that end, they chose the Elite Show Bands 9 piece ensemble to entertain their guests. Performing everything from the Norah Jones version of the jazz standard “Come Rain or Come Shine”, to the classic rock of Bruce Springsteen and modern hits by Bruno Mars and Pharrell Williams, the Elite Show Band proved they are a true variety music group. Even the couple’s beloved Ohio State song “Hang on Sloopy” was represented.
The dance floor was never empty and every generation truly felt the Bride and Groom had achieved their goal of a wedding reception that’s “the best experience it can be for our guests“.
