Historic Summit Inn Wedding

The classic ambiance of the Historic Summit Inn makes it an ideal location for an extraordinary event. Surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Pennsylvania this venue was first opened to the public in 1907 and has managed to preserve their tradition of service and friendliness for over 100 years. With the classic architecture, the golden chandeliers, the white lace table settings and the spectacular golf course view, the setting was complete for Maria and Donny’s historic wedding.

The Elite Show Band was brought in to tie together the varied musical tastes of these two families and keep the event moving all night. Being able to provide a jazz trio for the cocktail hour, a full band for the reception and DJ service for the end of the night “after party” are just some of the reasons this wedding focused variety music band is in such high demand.

Specialty songs such as Eric Clapton’s “Wonderful Tonight”, the classic “Fly Me to the Moon”, country songs by Shania Twain and Hank Williams Jr and a rousing Bridal Dance Polka were all accommodated as well as modern dance hits like “Shut Up and Dance” by Walk the Moon. Being able to satisfy a wide range of musical tastes while still keeping the flow of the night moving is what this band does best and this event was no exception.

Maria and Donny’s wedding was a beautiful event and they definitely made history for themselves and their family, another fantastic Summit Inn wedding!
