Omni William Penn Wedding

Omni Hotels leave a lasting impression with every guest through award-winning, four-diamond service. The Omni William Penn Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh lives up to this high standard. The two-tiered Grand Ballroom features antique crystal chandeliers and ornate gold leaf railings. The ceremony was held in the adjacent Urban Room which features Art Deco elegance with black Carrera glass walls and a ceiling mural by artist Joseph Urban. For Kristine and Vishaal, an Omni William Penn Wedding was the location of their dream wedding.

Utilizing the skills of top wedding planner Erin Calvimontes of Divine Celebrations the area’s best vendors were brought in including Goldstein Photography (see their gorgeous photos below) and the Elite Show Band. They even hired a party bus to make sure the fun never stopped and had planned a vacation which started as they left the wedding chapel. You can find more info on sacramento party bus here.

In addition to the full 9 piece live band keeping everyone dancing in the main ballroom, music was also provided for the ceremony in the Urban room and cocktail hour in the Sky room. Seamless integration of a wide variety of genre’s was required to satisfy this large and diverse group of people and the Elite Show Band rose to the occasion playing specialty songs by Ray Lamontagne, Bob Dylan, Justin Timberlake, Kool and the Gang and Pharrell Williams among others. A two-hour DJ after party was also provided for the late-night crowd providing the best of everything for this young and dynamic couple.

All in all Kristine and Vish had the best of everything at their wedding, which will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on their friends and family.

Elite Show Band showed up and delivered and amazing performance for my brothers wedding. They offered our guests a night to remember. I was helping the couple in the planning process and was tasked with music responsibilities. The Elite Show Band made the whole process so simple and so smooth. They put in a tremendous amount of work to understand our preferences and the type of event we wanted to have. I thought I would have to have several songs and specific times when we wanted them played, and although they would have taken that information and followed along, it was not necessary. They were able to get everyone on the dance floor and keep everyone of all ages partying all night. Their ability to read the room showed to be just as important and valuable as their ability to play. Peter and Nina made efforts to reach out to us and gather as much information as possible. Their online planning form was incredibly helpful but the added conference calls and their availability via email, call or text, was extremely comforting. The wedding was two weeks ago and we still hear compliments from guests on how great the band was. But from an organizers perspective their ability to accommodate all requests even at the last minute was far beyond what we ever expected. Even as we were in line for our entrances we made changes to how things would go. We didn’t tell the band. They just picked up what was happening and went with it. I think thats what any couple or planner would want. The day of is hectic and having someone who “gets it” and can adapt on the go proved to be incredibly helpful. Aside from their professionalism and willingness to make sure we had an unforgettable experience, they are incredible musicians and singers. There should be no doubt or concerns on their ability to deliver a great performance. If there is one thing to take away from this, it is that they will get your guests on the dance floor or at least having a good time while they are hovering around the bar! I can’t thank them enough or show enough gratitude. I would recommend the Elite Show Band to anyone looking for the best experience and a night to remember!
